Lisbon may not be the most jogger-friendly city due to its hilly topography. Walking up and down those hills may be enough to keep you fit. However, if you\u2019re after a more serious workout, there is no shortage of modern well-equipped health and fitness centers. You\u2019ll be able to find one in your neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Besides sweating it out at the gym, you’ll be able to find local soccer clubs, yoga classes, indoor swimming pools, and activities like archery and tennis.<\/p>\n

The Strength Clinic <\/a>offers world-class training and coaching as well as nutrition advice, osteopathy, and physiotherapy services. This gym offers a lot but is quite expensive compared with other gyms. Check out their membership options here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Time to Fitness 24<\/a> has the slogan ‘make muscles, not excuses.’ It offers personal trainers, lady fitness classes, and all the usual weight and fitness machines. It is open 24\/7, 365 days a year. Check out their membership options here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jazzy Play<\/a> is different in that it offers fitness, dance, and combat classes. It also has a kid\u2019s program. Check out their courses and price list here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yoga Studios<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ministry of Yoga <\/a>offers classes in various yoga styles. The instructors are mostly ex-pats and English is spoken. Check out class prices here.<\/a><\/p>\n

Crisliotti – Namaste <\/a>offers classes in Hatha Yoga and meditation.<\/p>\n

Yoga Lab Lisboa is a school dedicated to yoga and meditation.<\/p>\n

Soccer\/ Football<\/span><\/h2>\n

Lisbon Casuals Football Club<\/a>. If you are into playing football, this club welcomes all ages, male or female, and all abilities for a casual game of football.<\/p>\n

Atletico Clube de Portugal <\/a>has all levels of football teams depending on your age, sex and ability. Children’s teams also.<\/p>\n

Archery, Martial Arts, Qi Gong,<\/span><\/h2>\n

Houses aren’t insulated, and electricity costs are expensive. Therefore, people forgo heating. But be aware, winters are freezing as well as humid.
