Push a little to get better rates. Some locations have indoor pools, and all have weights, machines, classes, and athletic courts.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.leparc.com\/\">Le Parc<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(two main locations, one in Microcentro at San Mart\u00edn 645, and one in Caballito at Yerbal 150) day rates start at $30. These gyms are small, but updated and modern, with a cafe, sports shop, and sauna.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sportclub.com.ar\/\">Sport Club<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(locations throughout the city) day rates begin at $25. They offer a variety of classes, most locations have small indoor pools, and some have athletic courts as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ymca.org.ar\/\">YMCA<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(Reconquista 439, 4311-4785) is great on a budget, with day rates starting at just $20. If you are a YMCA member, bring your card with you and get a free pass for the month.<\/p>\n<h3>Golf<\/h3>\n<p>There are dozens of top-notch golf courses throughout the city and the surrounding areas, including Uruguay. The websites listed below are directories to help you narrow your search from the plethora of options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Golf in Buenos Aires<\/strong>\u00a0is a directory of the golf courses all around the city, with rates and schedules listed. The website is in English and Spanish, and gives contact information for all the courses as well as a description and photos.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bagolfoutings.com.ar\/en\/27\/Home-Ingl%E9s\">BA Golf Outings<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is another directory, with the website in both English and Spanish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Campo Municipal de Golf<\/strong>\u00a0(Tornquist 1426, 4772-7261) is open from sunrise to sunset Tuesday-Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Costa Salguero Driving Range<\/strong>\u00a0(corner of Avs. Costanera R Obligado &amp; Salguero, 4805-4732) is open from 8am-6pm Monday-Sunday.<\/p>\n<h3>Tennis<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Parque General Belgrano<\/strong>\u00a0is located in Palermo (Salguero 3450, 4807-7879). General entry is $3, and a court costs $15-20 per hour. They are open 8am-10pm Monday-Friday, and 8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday. They have 8 clay courts, and if nighttime tennis is your preference, you will have to pay extra for flood lights. Be sure to call at least 48 hours in advance to reserve a court. You will have to bring all of your own equipment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Punta Carrasco<\/strong>, also in Palermo (corner of Avs. Costanera R Obligado &amp; Sarmiento, 4807-1010), costs $35 per hour, per court. They are open 8am-midnight Monday-Sunday. They have both cement and clay courts, and they have balls to purchase as well as rackets to rent (sometimes). Call ahead to make reservations. Three outdoor pools are also available, but be sure to call ahead to see if they will be open when you visit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salguero Tenis<\/strong>\u00a0(Salguero 3350, near Parque Belgrano; 4805-5144) costs $40-45 per hour, per court. They are open 8am-midnight Monday-Friday, and 8am-9pm on Saturday and Sunday. Cement courts, rackets and balls are available. Call ahead to reserve a court.<\/p>\n<h3>Swimming Pools<\/h3>\n<p>Most fitness centers have facilities with indoor swimming pools, including Megatlon and Le Parc. The outdoor pool at Parque General Belgrano (above) is open 10 am-7 pm during the summer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parquenorte.com\/\">Parque Norte<\/a> (Av. Cantilo y Guiraldes, 4787-1382) has three enormous outdoor pools open from 9 am to 8 pm during the summer months. Daily rates are $35 on weekdays and $50 on weekends and holidays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Club de Amigos<\/strong>\u00a0(Av. Figueroa Alcorta 3885, 4801-1213) has indoor and outdoor pools, with daily rates from $15.<\/p>\n<h3>Yoga<\/h3>\n<p>Almost any gym has yoga and pilates classes. A few yoga studios in Buenos Aires are listed below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Happy Sun Yoga<\/strong> (Antonio Beruti 2825, 5179-1871) is a studio in Recoleta that is owned and operated by an ex-pat from Canada, and most classes are given in English. You can also arrange private classes at $50 for a 90-minute class.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.buenaondayoga.com\/\">Buena Onda Yoga<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(locations in Palermo, Belgrano, San Telmo, and Recoleta) has classes in English, with Belgrano and Recoleta English-led classes. You can also arrange private classes at $40 for an hour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vida Natural<\/strong> (Charcas 2852, 4826-1695) has a variety of yoga and pilates classes, as well as massages and meditations, Thai chi, and more. The rates for yoga start at $200 for four classes (one hour each, once a week).<\/p>\n<h3>Football (Soccer)<\/h3>\n<p>Amateur football leagues and teams are everywhere in Buenos Aires and matches are set up and played year-round thanks to indoor and outdoor playing fields. Parque Norte in Belgrano (above) has synthetic indoor fields that can be reserved for hourly matches and accommodate five players on each team.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fcbafa.com\/\"><strong>Buenos Aires F\u00fatbol Amigos<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is an Argentine-expat networking club that organizes several matches every week in venues in Palermo and San Telmo. Join their mailing list to keep up with the latest events.<\/p>\n<h3>Climbing<\/h3>\n<p>If climbing is your forte, some of the gyms have climbing walls, but there is one place that specializes in climbing,\u00a0<strong>El Boulder<\/strong> (Arce 730, 4779-2825) in the Las Ca\u00f1itas area, which offers climbers options, including a cave and classes. They also organize trips around the city and further out into places like Mendoza and Bariloche. The day rate is $16 which includes climbing shoes.
