The city is pet-friendly; you can take your pets with you in most public transport and parks, subject to certain rules. Many locals do have pets, though it is usually people who have the space that have bigger and more active pets. There are food stores, pet groomers and vets around the city, as well as pet stores where you can buy pets. Pets are quite expensive and you can expect to pay around 500\u20ac for thoroughbred dogs.
