It might be slow to set up, but it is the most stable and most recommended for landlines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Sign up for an MTNL Landline Connection<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fill out an application form which can be downloaded as a .pdf at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mtnlmumbai.in\/index.php\/documents-required\">http:\/\/mtnlmumbai.in\/index.php\/documents-required<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Visit one of MTNL&#8217;s Quick Customer Service Centers. You can find the Customer Service center closest to you by visiting:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mtnlmumbai.in\/index.php\/csc-locations\">http:\/\/mtnlmumbai.in\/index.php\/csc-locations<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Submit your application form and the required documents and fees listed below.<\/li>\n<li>Someone will come to install the service in your home. Prepaid plans are about 1-2 rupees per minute with a low start-up fee of about 100 rupees.<\/p>\n<p>Or, you can choose a &#8220;postpaid&#8221; plan, usually a one-year contract, and have a bill mailed to you monthly. Postpaid services are usually less expensive.
